The event was held on the 21st of August 2016 at the Amverton Golf and Country Club in Pulau Indah. 42 Victorians met that morning to have a showdown for the best Victorian golfer! The event started promptly at 7.45 am after breakfast with a group photo. Golfers were then shown their respective buggies and caddies and a shotgun tee off started the championship.
As always Victorians competed in a healthy rivalry and in great spirits. However there can only a one champion at the end of the Tournament. He is none other than Dato’ Dina Rizal. Novelty prizes were also presented for longest drives, nearest to pin and nearest to line.
The top 25 golfers were given the first choice to represent VIOBA in the Inter-Alumni Quadrangular Challenge to be held at the same venue in a month’s time.
